As a previous student taking motorcycle lessons in CDC, i have made many mistakes. Thus, i am writing this blog post to share my mistakes made so that you can avoid making them while you are taking your lessons at CDC. Hopefully, these Tips for motorcycle lesson will help you to have a more enjoyable learning experience in CDC Motorcycle School.
This is a important tips for motorcycle lesson as knowing this will shorten your time taken to get your license. As it is highly unlikely for most learner to pass their lesson in their first try, you should book multiple sessions of the same lesson. I highly recommend booking at least 2 – 3 sessions of the same lesson so that you do not have to wait 2 – 3 weeks before reattempting the lesson. Remember that you have 18 free cancellation counts. Please take note that the session should be more than 48 hour apart.
To get your desired timeslot for your practical lesson, it is essential that you have to camp at the website, meaning that you have to log in to the CDC website to check for free timeslot. If you do not have much time to spare, my Tips for motorcycle lesson is to at least check the website at specific timing frequently. These specific timing are around the end of the practical session. This is because learner who passed the lesson will cancel the extra lessons booked. This will result in new timeslot. If you camp at the website, it is possible to get timeslot for lesson on the next day or even on the same day itself.
Do read my post seriously on the lesson before attempting the lesson if you want to pass it in the least amount of attempt. This is because every lesson starts with the instructor giving verbal instruction on how to tackle those courses. Unless you have a very good memory, it is highly unlikely that you will remember every verbal instruction given. Thus, if you read my post, you are already prepared for the lesson and you will know what you have to do to pass the lesson. This will highly increase your chance of passing the lesson in the first attempt.
Try your best to buildup a database of motorcycle number that suit your riding style. This is because you might want to use these motorcycle number for important lessons like lesson 5 and 8. Best to have more than 4 motorcycle number as you can have backup in case the motorcycle number you like is not available. Also, take note of those motorcycle that you do not like so that you can avoid using those motorcycle in future.
Do not waste cancellation count on theory lesson as theory lesson are much cheaper than practical lesson. I believe you do not have to attend theory lesson in sequential order, meaning that you can take theory lesson 4 first before taking lesson 1. Try to clear all theory lessons as soon as possible. Try not be late for more than 10 minute for theory lessons as your attendence might not be taken by the system if you are too late
If you are having problem passing lesson 6 and 7 which are public road lessons, you might want to book those lessons on weekend afternoon time as the traffic are much lighter. With lesser traffic, it is more safer and easier to pass as compared to taking those lessons on weekday when there are much more traffic on the public road.
If you failed your traffic police test, please immediately go to the counter to book a retraining session so that you can book your Traffic police test again. As the system do not update your status immediately, you might not be able to book the retraining session online immediately after failing. A retraining session must be booked before you are allowed to book a Traffic Police Test Date.
