Below are the 13 FAQ for CDC Motorcycle Lesson asked in the telegram chat group. Do read FAQ for CDC Motorcycle Lesson if you do not have access to telegram or the chat is too long to read.

1. What to do if there is no slot available for booking lesson? Or the slot is 2 – 3 weeks later?
You should check the CDC website frequently after each session ends. This is because learner who passed the lesson will cancel the extra lessons booked. This will result in new timeslot being released. If you camp at the website, it is possible to get timeslot for lesson on the next day or even on the same day itself.

2. Why i cannot book the next lesson after passing?
Do call the hotline if you still cannot book the next lesson after waiting for 1 day. Else, can call hotline after waiting for a few hours if you do not want to wait.

3. Why i cannot cancel my lesson for refund?
Lesson with less than 48 working hours cannot be cancelled. If you have passed L4, you can request for the lesson to be converted to Circuit Revision. Else, you can attend the lesson again. However, if you do badly, the instructor can fail you. Circuit Revision cannot be cancelled.

4. What is WM2B? How much? How long?
It is warmup for Traffic Police test and it includes the actual Traffic police. Book this to register for your Traffic Police Test. TP cost around $83 and should end by 12pm. Do read my blogpost for more information on Traffic Police Test

5. Why i cannot book Riding Theory Test(RTT)?
Basic Theory test(BTT), all lessons including Defensive Riding theory(DRT) and Internal Evaluation(IE) must be completed before you can book RTT. Please read my blogpost for more information.

6. What is the shortest time to get 2b License in CDC?
The shortest time is mainly dependent on the waiting time for BTT, RTT and TP. The waiting time in CDC is 1-2 months for each of the test. So if the waiting time for BTT, RTT and TP is 1 month, then the shortest possible time is 3 months as BTT, RTT and TP can only be done sequentially and not simultaneously. You can check my website to compare the test date in SSDC and BBDC. However, if you have really good reason, you can appeal to Traffic police to get earlier test date.

7. What is the next test date for BTT, RTT, TP in CDC?
You can check out in my blogpost. Alternatively, you can check out CDC website.

8. For Lesson 6, Is Defensive Riding Theory (DRT) needed?
DRT is not needed to be attended before Lesson 6. But you must at least be able to show that you have booked DRT before going for lesson 6.

9. How to update PDL Expiry Date?
Please wait one day for the expiry date to be automatically updated in CDC database. If there is still no update after one day, please call hotline for help.

10. What to bring for Circuit Orientation or Circuit Training?
There will be no riding. So, there is no dress code for this lesson only(Can wear slipper and singlet). There is no need to bring anything. Please read this blogpost for more information.

11. What is the average attempts needed to pass lesson X?
There is no need to know this as everyone is different. And it is highly unlikely that you will pass the lesson on your first attempt. Thus, you should book multiple sessions of the same lesson. I highly recommend booking at least 2 – 3 sessions of the same lesson so that you do not have to wait 2 – 3 weeks before reattempting the lesson. Remember that you have 18 free cancellation counts. Please take note that the session should be more than 48 hour apart so that you can cancel after passing. Please note for lesson 1, you will require at least 2 lessons to pass if you do not have any experience in riding motorcycle. You can read this blogpost my record of the number of attempt for each lesson.

12. When is the best timing to book for Lesson 6, 7 and 8?
If you are having problem passing lesson 6, 7 and 8 which are public road lessons, you might want to book those lessons on weekend afternoon time as the traffic are much lighter. With lesser traffic, it is more safer and easier to pass as compared to taking those lessons on weekday when there are much more traffic on the public road.

13. Do i have to attend all theory lesson in order?
You can take all theory lesson in any order. But you are recommended to take them sequentially.

14. What is Retraining?
Retraining are for those who fail traffic police test. It is must to book Retraining before you can rebook your Traffic Police test. However, it is not a must to attend the lesson. Retraining is the same as Road Revision.
